This BMW ranks at the top of the street bikes I''ve owned over the last 39 years. The styling is appealing and functional, and the bike is highly competent for several types of riding. This flexibility drew me to the ST. It is an excellent tourer, sportbike and around-town bike. It is light-weight, easy-handling and takes corners like it''s on rails. The components are first-rate, especially the brakes, engine and suspension. Power is ALWAYS there. It easily pulls from 2500 rpms in any gear, building power to redline. 55+ mpg is the rule, and it will run on any grade gasoline. The belt final drive is quiet, light and clean. For someone who likes to RIDE and not worry about anything, this Beemer delivers.
