brilliant motorbike, my first motorbike i owned, i bought it in 2005 and only had it for just over a year then some nice people stole it but whilst i had it i thought it was good
if you''re only going to use it on the road put road tyres on it because knobblys feel wobbly on the road
mine was a bog standard xlr125 and would cruise at 50-60mph with about 70-75mph being top speed
with me not being a very fit and healthy type of person i found the seat a little hard at first but soon got used to it and it has a good riding position, so good in fact that sometimes on longer journeys it was like i was actually sitting on a cruising type motorbike
if you''re looking for a cheap reliable 125 trials bike for on and off road my opinion is that you can''t go far wrong with one of these
mine was a 2001 model costing me £1500 from a motorbike shop in stoke in 2005
Pro: cheap and economical to run
quick and reliable
stylish looks except for the back end, i changed mine and took the silly little red tool bag off and it looked much better
easy to customise to your own liking, it''s a trials bike, do what you want to it! paint it, spray it, but don''t put loads of them silly stickers all over it
good for going over the countryside trail riding so long as you''re pretty tall i should imagine, never got round to doing that though so i don''t know yet
Contra: need to be tall to use it properly, i`m only 5''3" and did find the seat height mixed with the weight a bit much sometimes (and it is supposed to be one of the lighter road going trials bikes)

This is my first and current bike. I have got a 2001 model and I have only had it a few weeks but it is an amazing bike with great looks, it sounds great even with stock pipes and it has a nice low ride height and it''s also pretty heavy. Everywhere I ride it it gets looks and it definately sounds like a big bike but my ''L'' plates give it away lol. The chrome is nice and the V-Twin definately attracts attention however it''s not the fastest 125 out there but this kind of bike is for people who want to look like they''ve got style. I''ve not had any problems with mine but getting parts can prove to be hard ecspecially finding a service/owners manual. Apart from that, a great bike to enter the cruiser market and much better than the 125cc sportbikes!
