I bought my Volusia in April 2003. The bike is fantastic. It looks alot bigger than it is, but its light weight makes the bike easy to manuever al low speeds. I often ride with my wife on the bike and have never felt a shortage of power. The bike has never had a mechanical problem and the shaft drive is worry free. The ride is smooth and comfortable for both the driver and passenger. What a bargain for the price. Recommended reading: Motorcyclecruiser.com rating of this bike against other 800s.

Probably one of the best bikes on the market as far as "Bang for the buck"! I am extremely happy with this bike. My wife and I can ride down the interstate at 70 mph effortlessly. It has an very smooth engine and vibration is very slight. I have a friend that has his bike decked out like mine(its a HD) and I have about a 1/3 of the money invested that he does! Great bike!
