Had the bike for 3 years: '86 FZ600 in Canada. You could tell where the quality was on this bike; suspension and engine tuning were great and it was all in a small package. Modern 600's look like absolute monsters compared to the trim FZ600. Trying to maintain the thing got the best of me, as it spent more time getting worked on than on the road.
Pro: OK power, great suspension and feel.
Contra: Soft valves, 4 carbs to maintain that are a tight fit to the frame, impossible to find replacement lower/mid fairings for a reasonable price, petcock/misc carb parts will go on you, carbs MUST be cleaned each spring.
